Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 8/28/2026 | Last Updated: 8/28/2026

MockProspect (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an AI-powered sales-training service: your reps call a dedicated phone number, an AI prospect answers and pushes back like a real buyer, and every call is recorded and graded against standards you maintain. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit mockprospect.com (the “Site”) and use our services.

We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to you (“Personal Information”):

  • Account Information: the email address you provide at checkout (your account key) and, where provided, an owner phone number.
  • Rep Information: the phone numbers of the sales reps you register to use your practice line.
  • Practice-Call Data: recordings, transcripts, and grades of practice calls made to your practice number, and the written standards (objection answers, pitch stages, language rules) you maintain.
  • Transaction Data: payment information processed securely via Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
  • Demo-Line Calls: calls to our public demo number are recorded and graded like any practice call and are deleted within 30 days.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the information collected to:

  • Provide and maintain the practice-call and grading service.
  • Grade calls against your standards and show you and your reps the reports.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Send service messages: owner sign-in links by email and rep sign-in codes by SMS.

3. AI Processing — No Training on Your Data

The AI prospect and the graders are powered by third-party AI models (OpenAI). Your practice-call audio, transcripts, and standards are sent to these providers only to run your calls and produce your grades. Under our standard API agreements, these providers do not use customer API data to train or improve their models, and we do not authorize any such use. We do not use your recordings, transcripts, grades, or standards to train AI models of our own.

4. Data Sharing & Selling

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We only share data with third-party service providers strictly necessary to provide the service: Stripe (billing), Twilio (telephony and SMS), and OpenAI (the AI prospect and grading). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
  • Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

5. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

We comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act. California residents have the following rights:

  • Right to Know: request a list of the personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to Delete: request that we delete your personal information (subject to certain legal exceptions).
  • Right to Correct: request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Automated Decision Making: request information regarding our AI’s logic and opt out of certain automated processing.

To exercise these rights, contact us at support@mockprospect.com.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information from our files as soon as possible. If you believe that we may have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at support@mockprospect.com.

7. International Users and GDPR Rights

MockProspect is operated from the United States. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws comparable to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the following applies to you:

  • Legal basis for processing: we process your personal information on the basis of (a) contractual necessity (to provide the Service you subscribed to), and (b) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service.
  • Data subject rights: you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@mockprospect.com.
  • Right to lodge a complaint: you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
  • International data transfers: personal information you provide is transferred to and processed in the United States. We rely on standard contractual clauses and other legally recognized transfer mechanisms where required.

8. Cookies

We use cookies only to keep owners and reps signed in to their accounts. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or retargeting. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies; however, signing in will not function without them.

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including SSL encryption and secure database protocols, to protect your data. Sign-in links and codes are single-use and expiring, and only cryptographic hashes of sign-in tokens are stored. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfill legal obligations. If your subscription lapses or you cancel, your account stays readable for 30 days; after that, all your data — recordings (including copies held at our telephony provider), transcripts, grades, standards, and account — is permanently deleted and your practice number released. Demo-line calls are deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the “Effective Date.”
